ABSTRACT
Steganography is the science and art of invisible communication. This is accomplished through hiding information in other information. Many different formats of file carriers can be used, but images are the most popular because of their frequency over the Internet. There exist a large variety of techniques for steganography, for hiding secret information in images some are more complex than others and all have respective strong and weak points. Different applications have different requirements of the steganographic techniques used. For example, some applications may require complete invisibility of the secret information, while others require a larger secret message to be hidden. This project intends to show a sample program that uses image steganography to hide a text message. The receiver then decrypts the image to get the original message hid in it.
