J.K. Rowling, born July thirty-first, had written 2 books by the time she was 12. She says that she lived for books. She attended Exeter University and studied French and Classics. Selling 2.65 million books in twenty-four hours, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows became the fastest-selling book ever. She earned her first best seller in 1997 with Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.

J.K. Rowling, the author of the seven Harry Potter novels, was born in Yate, England. The Casual Vacancy is the first book that she published for adults. It got mixed reviews and in 2013, she got into the crime-fighting genre under an alias of Robert Galbraith. In 2014, she published a glimpse into where the Harry Potter cast would be now. Rowling and husband Neil Murray have two kids together. Her daughter Jessica is from a previous marriage to Jorge Arantes.

As Joanne Rowling was leaving Manchester on a train, she dreamt up Harry potter and the whole wizarding world. Seven years later, she found out that her book was finally getting published. In the span of those seven years, she was married, had a daughter, and got a divorce. She broke records when she was paid $105,000 for her first fictional children's book. She and her daughter went from welfare to rich in the next three years. She is married to Dr. Neil Murray and they have a son.

Warner Brothers bought the movie rights for Harry potter in 1999. This caused Joanne Rowling's first three books to soar to the top of the best sellers list. The first six novels sold over 325 million copies alone. Just after the queen, she became the second richest woman in England. Her agent even became a multimillionaire. She wrote a couple of spinoffs to the popular series for charity in 2001.

Joanne Rowling was nine when her family packed up and moved to Tutshill, England. When she was fifteen years old, her mother was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. She attended church services at the church right beside her house and enrolled herself in Wyedean, a secondary school, where her mom also worked as a technician. She took entrance exams for Oxford but ended up at Exeter University. At Exeter, she recalled doing now work whatsoever and wearing heavy eyeliner. In 1990, the same year she got her inspiration for Harry Potter, Her mother died.
