Trends of business in organizations keep on changing and it becomes inevitable for both public and private sector to keep training and development process continue in their organizations to coop up the needs of the time (Iqbal and Rashid, 2011). In the competitive business atmosphere of present days, human resource development has become a highly specialized field and organizations now a days spend billions on training and development of their employees every year. These activities are directed to improve service, compete to excel, innovate in produce to achieve desired goals. These Training process needs to be thoughtfully planned. Organizations are fully aware of the need of training of their staff and development process in their organizations to keep themselves as effective competitor in the market. Training and development is a science of specialized processes to properly design, deliver and implement different activities as per needs to achieve desired goals. Research is empirical in nature, grouped in the science of learning, and has spawned innovative strategies and techniques. Training is viewed as a system that is essential to promote learning and enhance onjob performance. Training research can increasingly help in guiding & designing effective training programme, specific for organizations both in public and private sector to ensure that their workforce continually learns and develop (Iqbal and Rashid,2011).
It is often stated that the success of ensuring changes in mindsets is through a strategy which consists of both tools/techniques and cultural changes (Randor, 2010). Significant impacts can be achieved through a Lean approach but this approach may not be the purest form the Lean. Strategy should be the base, supported by decisive leadership and an engaged workforce to understand the processes and then use a series of tools and techniques to improve the processes (Radnor, 2010).
Training process leads to important benefits like improvement in individuals, and teams performance, development of organizations, & society and prosperity of a nation (Aguinis and Kurt, 2009). To maximize the benefits of training, factors needs to be considered include needs assessment, design and delivery, evaluation, and implementation. Proper research is compulsory to understand intergradation of the training functions with employee selection, performance management, rewards, and other human resource management practices (Aguinis and Kurt, 2009).
A shared association between national culture and organizational training has been observed based on beliefs, norms and values. Through improved literature organizations can support the idea of the cross cultural training. Organizations have understood the importance of research which is essential to tackle the changes as it may influence the national training programs. Moreover, relative studies carried out by international organizations deliver a wealth of information about the differences between the nations with respect to training procedures (Hassi and Giovanna, 2011).
Significant measures in order to create a strong information culture within the organization are required in which a leadership plays a vital role to create a sense of need among the employees which will help in the firm in development of an unified information culture through effective training programs (Wright,2013).
