Writing Tips I Wish I Knew Before

Although one may find a writing process a product of clear creativity, there still exist some unwritten rules and principles that each writer should use during the writing process. Undoubtedly, it is impossible to be well aware of all of them since there are too much of them. Some of the writing tips I have found or realized by myself only recently. That is why I would like to present several of them – i.e. writing tips I wish I knew before.

From the very start, it is worth admitting that writing tips are not only about the exact process of writing. More specifically, I wish I paid much attention to the tips that directly influence the process of writing and, accordingly, affect the level of quality. One of such tips is to have a special place for writing. Traditionally, it is a corner in a room that is spacious enough for writing under comfortable conditions. Earlier I did not pay specific attention to this tip and that is why it always took a while for me to start writing. As for now, it is quicker and more productive. Secondly, I also wish I used thesaurus earlier. The truth is that sometimes the quality of the work is not as high due to a lot of the same words used in the work. That is why it is a nice piece of advice to get used to looking through the thesaurus when it is complicated to find a suitable word. Finally, the successful writing process has nothing in common with procrastination. Even more, this problem is universal and cause problems in different spheres of human activity. Now, I try to keep in mind all the negative consequences that may be brought by the sudden displays of procrastination. It is always better to write without lateness and to not postpone the planned efforts.
